To configure the "CDC Serial emulator" example on demoboard PICDEM FSUSB

Hello: I have the MICROCHIP DEMOBOARD PICDEM FSUSB and I need to control the RTS and DTR pins state like a "general purpose" output pins from a PC host. Im using the code example: "Device-CDC-Serial-Emulator" (extracted from the Microchip Library Applications MLAv2012-07-18). Until now I made the below modifications to the project and DTR its working perfect !!! when I tick into rts checkbox on the PC software, pin state of RTS change to low state and vise versa. Now I need help to do the same with RTS. Code modifications: 1. Uncommented: #define USB_CDC_SUPPORT_HARDWARE_FLOW_CONTROL and #define USB_CDC_SUPPORT_ABSTRACT_CONTROL_MANAGEMENT_CAPABILITIES_D1 (in usb_config.h) 2. Added these code lines to: InitializeUSART(void) (in main.c), inside the #if defined(__18CXX) branch: #if defined(USB_CDC_SUPPORT_HARDWARE_FLOW_CONTROL) #if defined(UART_TRISDTR) UART_TRISRTS = 0; #endif #if defined(UART_TRISDTR) UART_TRISDTR = 0; #endif #endif 3.
