Hello, I don't know how formal you would like this application to be, but I will give you details about me and leave it up to you to decide if I am right for the job. I am currently a third-year student at Loughborough University in the UK. From a young age, I have played with computers. I currently own 5 raspberry pis that perform various tasks around my house, one of them has a temperature sensor connected via GPIO pins. My latest job has been about building a python app to interact with buttons, switched and lights connected via GPIO pins to a raspberry pi. I also wrote software for receipt printers in python that connect via serial, in a similar way to your RFID reader. So I believe that this should be easy and relatively fast. Hi, I am a prototype engineer and have made a similar program using the raspberry Pi micro controller and the RFID reader. The system I have built is similar to a transportation system where you can add fare to your card and read the credit on the card. Is there any logic you want to implement in the python program? Hello sir, you need rs232 to serial converter, voltage divider to convert to 3.3v to connect GP20 to raspberry pi.
