The Role - Curriculum Researcher, Global Expansion Program - This is a remote working contractual opportunity for a total duration of 3 months. - As a part of our Global Expansion Program, Embibe wants to on-board experienced Educators in Math and Science (Chemistry, Physics & Biology) from across 15 countries (USA, Nigeria, South Africa, UK, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, Nepal, Jordan, Israel, Philippines) to help create an exhaustive repository of concepts taught as per the curriculum of the home country. You will be required to: - Source all Math and Science K12 books (of the most popular/relevant board/curriculum followed) of Grades 1-12 and make them available to Embibe India (in digital or physical form) - this cost can be reimbursed as per actuals/receipts - These books will form the basis of curriculum mapping exercise (for Math and Science subjects) that will be done by a team based in India who will work with you closely - Provide constant guidance/direction to the said India team for the most effective and exhaustive mapping of existing curriculum (on grade, chapter, subject, topic and concept levels) with that of your home country - Work closely with Senior team of Educators based at India office who will drive this exercise at an overall level - May be needed to create a network with other experienced Educators belonging to your home country (in subjects where you do not have expertise) to help review this curriculum map across all grades - Create a concept-by-concept deficiency report of your home country curriculum vis-a-vis existing list of concepts and ensure that the same is incorporated into the existing concept list to create a final, accurate learning map applicable to your home country - May be required to visit India office for 2-4 days to close the final reviewed output - Conduct an in-depth research about your country's school education system including major exam systems - Competitor benchmarking in ed-tech/AI space - Provide local perspective to determine market potential of home country (Please note: All relevant costs incurred for this project will be eligible for reimbursement as per actuals/receipts)
