Software Reverse Engineering (using tools like IDA, winhex, syser...)

Project Requirements: Excellent Reverse Engineering Skill (disassembler tools like IDA, winhex, syser), C++ Programming, Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Our computer runs a client of a client-server application. The client(from our computer) and the server are constantly communicating via data packets. The way the server talks to the client is by dumping data packets into our computer memory which will get pick-up by the client application to process. Beside running the client application, we also have an offline application running on our computer. The job of our application is to track the data packets that was dumped into our computer memory from the server application, it then extracts only certain data from the data packets. We use the data extracted to keep statistics and make calculation. The client-server application had recently had a major update, the old version used QT library and the updated version(current version) uses Windows library. Our application is built for QT library, since the major update from the client-server application, our application stopped working. We are looking for a software engineer that can adapt our application to the current version of the client-server application. We will pay $1500 this task. We also wants to improve our application, we will pay $1000 on top of the $1500 for improvements of our application. We can discuss the details of the improvement after the first task is done.
