To whom it may concern,
I am a native Korean speaker and work as a freelance translator who specializes in English to Korean translations and proofreading. I have been actively working at a Korean based biochemistry company located in the United States. A majority of my tasks consist of translating patents based on biochemical and/or cosmetic formulations. I am also tasked with translating general documents between the Korean and United States offices. I am well versed in the terminology used in the chemical field, as I graduated with a PharmD from Ewha Women’s University in Korea. There I took many classes, both in English and Korean, which include physical chemistry and polymer engineering. I am interested in this opportunity because I am hoping to work as a patent translator in the future, and would like to share my expertise with you as well. I can promise quick turnarounds, and completely accurate translations on all my work.
My rate is 170 dollars per 1,000 words but it can be negotiable.
I appreciate your time, and I hope I can be of assistance to you.
