Background: I grew up in an impoverished Pennsylvania Coal country. I was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome when I was 5 and was considered a top 20% case in severity until I was in my early 20's. In the last 10 years I have started a non-profit, a protestant church, and tried to start a social enterprise in Paris before being fired from my organization for my stance on marriage equality. Now: I am starting a social enterprise:, a coffee roastery & mobile coffee shop called Working Class Coffee in Philadelphia PA. We will produce the best coffee in Philadelphia while bridging the inequality gap that exists in the city through healthy employment practices and by initiating and supporting best practice helps programs. How you can help: I want to chronicle the process for 3 reasons. 1) I want to create a real life entrepreneurs vlog that reveals all of the stresses and joys that come with life as a founder of a start up. 2) I want to encourage anyone who comes from a similar background and/or has dealt with similar struggles. Adversity can be harnessed for remarkable change and I want to encourage others to step out and take a risk. 3) I want it to take off and become a second revenue stream for me and you :) DETAILS: -- Build the Youtube page as you see fit -- 1 Video weekly: Length will be up to you -- 3 month commitment: Let's reevaluate at that time.
