We're making a low budget horror feature film with a unique concept. We already have a VFX company working on the project with us but as they are fairly new and working on it for free around other projects we're going to have to bring in some other CG/ VFX artists to work with the head VFX artist we already have on board to make the project acheivable in a short time scale. At the moment there are shots which have green screen, with fake blood needed, fake light eyes that need to be tracked, rotoscoping, some design to go on green screen computer screens create a CG house. Nothing to crazy but more information will be given once NDA's are signed. At the moment we're looking to raise money so we can complete this stage so not sure what our budget will be. We're looking to see who's out there and to see some general quotes on how much it would be to hire for a week, for a month, for two months working full time on different areas and shots of the project. Hello, thanks for inviting me to the project for a quote. To get straight to the point, if I'm to be hired for a full month my minimum flat rate is 2800$ CAD which works out to roughly 1700$ GBP depending on the exchange rate This website, Freelancer charges an additional 188.89$ in GBP which is not included in my rates and would be part of the fee for working through this platform. As for the work I do, I cover all the work you've mentioned in your project description (Rotoscoping, Matchmoving, Tracking, Keying, Smoke, Fire, & generally more complicated VFX.) I work as a one-man VFX studio in Canada. If you need different rates for different tasks, I'm more than happy to work down the price point based on what you need to get done and how fast.
