Project Description: I am looking for a graphic designer with a modern style who is proficient in CSS and Web page programming. THANK YOU!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OVERVIEW In general, I am very happy with the design of my site and the overall color scheme. What I want is someone to take what I have and, working within that framework, to create something more modern and sleek using css as the primary design method with a very low dependence on graphics and a fast load time. The entire site feels too “boxy” right now. Everything is stuck in a boring and plain box with too many sharp edges. This does not mean I need every edge to be curved, it means I want to design outside of the box. I like the color scheme. Feel free to tweak, adjust or switch around the levels, but I like blues, grays and yellows as the primary colors. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GRAPHIC DESIGNER NEEDS/STYLE GUIDE: • Should have a full understanding of the capabilities of CSS and design the page with the actual CSS and as few graphics loading as possible in mind. • Photoshop, Illustrator, Vector images. • Sleek, modern • Can design in CSS alongside of photoshop and realizes exactly what will and what will not translate between an psd and css. • I want someone who can make sleek-looking banners using only css and a few images. Text should be editable by me at any time. • Want someone to take what I have and kick it up a notch • I want to see it in action, not a mockup. • Possible header redesign, change the steel color to blue in the featured posts slider. • I want a collection of sleek css styles for making pages look different.
