We have an existing website at [login to view URL] that was created using Frontpage with ASP hosted at [login to view URL]
We would like to add shopping cart functionality to the "Catalog Parts" section (from the left side menu) using COMERSUS or any other shopping cart software that will run on IIS. Running a Linux based solution such as OScommerce or Zencart seems to conflict with the ASP programming we have already established.
I have installed the Comersus base package on the webserver (at [login to view URL]) which can be accessed by going to our [login to view URL] site and clicking on the Shopping Cart link at the bottom of the left side of the screen.
Comersus seems to require that all the products be explicitly defined for everything that you want to sell. Our "Catalog Parts" structure however has various options for creating a part description and arriving at a price. I would like to add an "Add to cart" button on each "Catalog Parts" product page that adds the "Part Description" and Price generated by the options the user selects instead of creating all the parts inside the Comersus database.
