Ninja Forms custom email trigger solution troubleshoot and fix

Having issues with an email send on submission of a form in Wordpress. My Wordpress site uses Events Manager Pro paired with Ninja Forms to allow website users the ability to contact event coordinators. Each event has an email address stored in a wp_postmeta table. This email is being triggered through a standard Ninja Forms email action but an additional recipient should be added through a function in the [login to view URL] file of the website. I need to figure out how to get this working again even if that means rewriting the PHP function. To be considered for this gig you must enter the word: TIGERS in your bid.
