Web Developer (Mostly Wordpress)

We are a small marketing agency that mainly works with Wordpress for our websites. We are looking for someone we can retain long term as our go-to person to develop sites as well as handle maintenance and updates when needed. We don't always have sites to do but we keep busy. So someone flexible to work on various projects is what we need. Our designer provides full design specs and we need someone who can develop the designs. We also do maintenance work and at times need someone who can make changes and fixes to sites. When we develop a site we like it to be a custom theme. We do not like using themes and converting them to match the design. All sites we build are responsive. We have clients on Shopify and WooCommerce as well. Someone who can handle all aspects of front-end design is definitely a bonus. What matters to us is someone who does the job right the first time and is honest with their hours. We are a small agency and being able to get development work done fast and properly, is very important. As we grow, we will, of course, have more work for the right candidate. Requirements: The right candidate should live in web development, not just dabble in it. We need someone who is a rockstar at this and fully understands how important every detail is. They should also develop for ease of use going forward. We like to build user-friendly sites. Knowledge of SEO structure in web development. Schema, markups, etc. Understanding of how to develop for page speed and keeping Google happy.
