HOW WE WORK

Jiffy has two great processes that will fit with anyone's style of project management.
Informal Time and Materials - This process is for those who are a little more experienced in the development cycle. We typically use this process when we have client's that are themselves developers, development houses, or are outsourcing the project to us. We we use the informal process, you provide us with all the documentation and wireframes, we provide you an estimate, and do the work based on an hourly time and materials basis for however long it takes to complete the project.
Formal Process - If you're not quite sure about the technical "stuff" and you just have a great app idea, you're who we wanna work with. Folks who have great ideas, but need help getting them to the app stores, is our specialty. When you don't have a formal project plan and wireframes, our first step is to create your plan and mockups, and then to proceed through our Standard Process. Following the completion of the UR document, we commit to a firm cost that we won't exceed*. We will continue development in our Standard Process after this or you can take the plan and wireframes away and have another developer work on your job, or wait until the right time (or budget) allows for the development.
Our standard process is the same for everyone we work with.
Evaluation and Recommendations - We tell you how to make your app better. We have tremendous experience and can advise on making money, trends, how to get new users, how to retain users, features, programming, processes -- you name it. We'll take you through an initial interview when you call to see if we're a good fit. If we are, we'll help you build the best app possible.
Graphics - (Typically 1 to 4 weeks) - We create these first. We show you real, engaging screens that look just like iPhones throughout the process. We follow the example of the wirefreames and suggest enhancements.
Program - (Typically 3 to 7 weeks) - We code and implement the project plan, layout the graphics, and perform all the necessary setup on the App Stores to deploy a test build to you.
BETA Application Delivery - (Typically 2 weeks) - We send you a test application that you can test on up to 100 devices. We provide a bug tracking tool that helps us receive your bugs and requests and helps us action them quickly. Reporting a bug is as easy and sending an email.
App Store Preparation & Submission - (Typically 2 weeks) - We help you get your app ready, produce screenshots, help you refine your text, etc. We then submit your app for you to the store, completing our end-to-end managed process.
60 Day Bug Correction and Warranty Period - Once we submit your app on the store, we provide you with a 60 day free bug correction period for the application. If there are bugs discovered outside this period, we'll still help you correct them, but that's done on a time and materials basis.
