Having started programming at the age of eight, I have built quite a bit of experience in making desktop applications. I began with game development, but I soon branched out to other types of programs. I also grew up overseas, where I learned Dutch and French. I have also picked up German fairly easily, mainly because of its similarity to Dutch. Over the summer of 2014, I worked as a Javascript developer for Nexcom to earn money for the next school year's tuition. My employers were so impressed that they offered me a 50-percent raise if I would stay for the next semester. Immediately after college, I got a job at Epic, where the vast majority of applicants are turned down. That job gave me experience with the rigorous development processes that must be followed by such a large company, as well as some experience with the healthcare industry.
