Lead Trainer/Instructional Designer
Trained government clients in the use of custom software created to track voter registration and statewide health care
information. Authored 5 training guides, developed 45 internet-based e-learning courses, and personally conducted in-classroom training sessions for Saber clients. As well as, spearheaded “train-the-trainer” programs, mentoring Saber clients to take on their own internal training after product rollout. Delivered classroom based training for more than 500 students in Oregon, Iowa, Ohio and North Carolina.
* Developed training manuals and received recognition from Saber for creating high quality training documentation. These manuals were then used by the training team to deliver training to the Sate of North Carolina to approximately 500 employees.
Comments on evaluations stated that the manuals were easy to read and use and met the needs of the employees.
* Partnered as a team member to develop e-learning and classroom training that was delivered on time and under budget.
The quality of the on-line training received outstanding reviews by the participants. In regards to the classroom training and received commendations from management for the outstanding quality and the cost effectiveness.

1999–2003 New Horizons Computer Training Eugene, OR
Instructor
Trained up to 25 students in the use of Microsoft Productivity Suite software. Incoming students’ experience level ranged from beginning to proficient, with the goal to progress them to the proficient – expert end of the competence scale. I also have taught classes in HTML, Internet Explorer, and basic business skills. Routinely taught classes with a student-teacher ratio of more than 20:1, while maintaining the highest material retention rates.
* On multiple occasions stepped into the role of Course Counselor to the students using my expertise as a trainer to evaluate client needs and suggesting more productive training paths that would maximize client return.

Worked as network and employee support for a local industrial equipment rental company. Fielded tech support calls On many occasions I would have to process up to 15 tech issues at a time from users of our network and POS software, debugged connection problems with our server and prepared monthly reports from our AS-400 based system.
* Became the main liaison to the tech department using personal interaction skills to calm the trepidation of employee users who had limited computer and networking experience.
* My willingness to do what ever was needed for the good of the company was revealed on a regular basis when I would fill in within various departments whenever needed.
