This product is intended to allow companies and users to leverage – not replace – their knowledge, comfort and dependencies on Excel by making certain functions of the economic evaluation and analysis process even easier than otherwise would be possible with Excel alone. The 4 broad areas that this product should address are:
1. Allow the user to easily change the periodicity of their calculations (i.e. switch their data view from monthly to quarterly to semi-annually to annually within the Excel environment).
2. Allow the user to easily consolidate and ring-fence calculations across multiple Excel files.
3. Remove the complexity of modeling in Excel, and provide a modeling environment where users only have to link up their data to allow them to perform complex calculations with ease.
4. Store all calculated data in a database system to allow it to be linked up to other systems or reported by third party tools.
