We would like to have a java application running in a mobile phone that is MIDP 1.0 and CLDC 1.0. This application will read the current Location Area Information and Cell ID from the SIM card and send the information via GPRS to a server. The server will receive the data and log it in a file or a mysql database. The java applications on the mobile phone must have the ability to set what is the interval to read and send the information as well as modify the destination server port and address.
