I am in need of a script (maybe for an eggdrop in IRC - I dont know so much about it) which is permanently connected to a defined IRC-Channel and is parsing the entries of a specific user inside this channel. I then cross compiled a threaded socks4 daemon I had and it only worked for one or two connections and then crashed (due to the low mem env). We currently have an eggdrop that runs a custom TCL script that we had created, The eggdrop used to search and grab downloads from our websites database based on commands issued in the mirc channel. however since we had this created, we have now altered how we stored our downloads which are no longer stored in the database and mainly stored on our filesystem.
