Real Estate Assistant

We are looking for a person who is eager to learn the real estate industry.
We buy, sell, and invest in residential and commercial real estate in Washington, DC and the surrounding area and are expanding our business nationwide.
You will be the primary support to myself, the managing director. In time, this is an opportunity to eventually be running part of my business. Not just an Executive Assistant, but truly an "Assistant Executive". Eventually, I will be looking to be completely passive in the business.
Your primary responsibilities will be to enable all the systems, communication, activity, other VA's and technology involved in running my business.
Mostly this includes various tasks involved with:
– General Admin:
email handling, calendar maintenance, contact maintenance, light bookkeeping, meeting coordination, electronic filing, etc.
– Marketing:
list management, direct mail coordination, lead generation, LinkedIn management and marketing
– Transaction coordination:
organizing inspections, permitting, interact with general contractors, title companies, managing technology, service providers, and much more.
– Tech support:
Must be proficient and experienced with computer systems, industry software, etc.
– Analysis and research:
Must be able to utilize basic market data, from various online sources including the local multiple listing service.
Key Skills and areas of focus:
-- VERY strong written and verbal communication skills in English - you will be interacting with our colleagues, vendors, brokers, banks, etc.
-- Exceptional ability to manage several high pressure projects at once
-- Inordinate attention to detail
-- Calm under pressure
-- Experience hiring and managing other VAs
Must have technology:
-- Ample internet access
-- Proficient computer hardware/software/specifications
– Dedicated and quiet work space
– Ability to make quiet and uninterrupted phone calls.
