Web based application for printing to "cloud ready" receipt printer

Our business offers complete web ordering solutions for fast food takeaways in that we develop both the websites and also provide the hardware (Windows PCs and thermal receipt printers). Currently the solution we offer our customers requires a Windows PC with a thermal receipt printer (attached to the PC via USB) but we want to remove the need for a Windows PC and instead install the new "cloud ready" 80mm POS thermal receipt printers that are coming onto the market. Each customer has their own website and when an order is placed, an email is generated which is sent to that customer's Gmail account. At each customer's premises, they have Windows PC which is running a custom built piece of software which checks that customer's Gmail account at set periods (generally set to every 30 seconds) then automatically prints the new orders. To avoid spam and non-order emails being automatically printed, emails generated by an order from the website include a code in the subject header and this acts as filter so the software will not print any email without that code. Our idea is to replace our custom built software (that runs on desktop PCs) with something that performs a similar task but is web based (some type of web application). In other words, instead of installing and configuring this custom built software on each customer's PC, have it running over the web so that it will print to "cloud ready" printers at our customer's locations. This proposed solution should remove the requirement for customers to have a PC installed at their business premises, just a "cloud ready" printer. The problem is that is nobody within our organisation is experienced with developing cloud based applications so we are looking for a freelancer who can deliver this. In the first instance, the freelancer should bid giving a brief summary of their proposed solution.
