Hello!
My name is Angi, and I am from Holland. I am currently living in Thailand.
I am a freelance translator/editor of texts from English to Dutch and vice versa.
I just finished a translation job for a Belgium company, translating some complicated medical documents. But I also translated legal documents and a few websites from English/Polish to Dutch. I also am a proofreader/editor of English and Dutch texts.
I am a native Dutch speaker, which is quite important for a Dutch translation. Our languages has many nuances and is more complicated then English.
I live in Thailand and free to do with my time whatever I want, so I could start right away on your job.
Normally I work like this:
1. I need a clear kind of instructions on what you want.
2. Translate the text(s): get an outline of the text in Dutch. What is it about? Make a frame of what the main text will be. Create an article/document about the product (from English) in Dutch.
3. Check the text(s), finetuning and look for nuances and mistakes: re-writing.
4. Final scan through all the text(s);
5. Always keep in touch with you, whenever I have questions or remarks.
I hope to hear from you.
I wish you a wonderful day!
With kind regards,
Angi
