Java - Write article to introduce console based input/output in Java

Hi there, Our name is JCoder Ltd and we provide Java materials (articles/courses). We're in the process of scaling our number of articles and course sections and hence looking to get more hands on deck. The purpose of this job is to write an article that introduces Console based input/output in Java. This article will become Chapter 10 of our Java for Beginners Course. Requirements: - The article should follow a similar writing style to that found in the same course, for example: [login to view URL] - Article should be written in English. - Article should be written in AsciiDoc format (we'll provide examples to the successful applicant). - The article should cover: * The basics of [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] (what they are). * Indicate that [login to view URL] has already been used and give a few examples of printing out to console. * Introduce the Scanner class * Use the Scanner class to read data from [login to view URL] * Provide an example where the user reads 2 numbers and the name of an operation (limited to these 3: "add", "subtract" and "multiply") and return the result of applying the operation to those 2 numbers. - No exception handling required for the example, but a note should be added. Please divide the article into multiple sections (see other chapters in the course), each section being a separate AsciiDoc file. Ideal candidate should: - Have experience in Java development - Be proficient writing in English - Have experience writing technical articles Updates: - The article must be original (i.e. no plagiarism!) - Your article will be reviewed and we expect at least 3 reviews/feedback rounds before it is approved.
