I need to get data to auto update weather station software

Hi Guys, I bought a peice of software called weather-display ( trial can be obtained from [login to view URL]) Normally this software interfaces with a weatherstation, however it also has the ability to import METAR data into the application and display the the weather information in the software. What I want to do is pull METAR data from the Australian BOM website ( they have an FTP site where they publish the data) for Port Macquarie which is where I live and display this information in weather-display. i understand there may be some research required to make this happen as i have spent many hours trying to get it to work with no luck so i dont expect the job to be finished over night but I want it ASAP.
