I have an application that would require me simulate car engine sounds based off of a 0-5V potentiometer input. There are existing apps out there that do this very well such as RevHedz and XLR8....using either your finger, GPS, or OBDII as an input. I would essentially like to model the sound portion of this on a board which I could connect the potentiometer input and amplifier output.
I have code in C++ to do this but it is less elegant...only looping a short sound clip faster and faster based on the 0-5V input.
Hi There,
I would be glad to take this project.
Actually it's very exciting!
Please let me know if you have any question and we can discuss it on the chat.

Hello, i am an electrical engineer with simulation knowledge , i am working with embedding programming , Java , c++ , c OPPS, we can discuss more over chat ,thanks regards.
Dear Sir! I've seriously went through your post and I have understood what you need. I am sure that I can be the best candidate who is able to perfectly complete this project Engine Sound Simulator. Because I am very talented not only in Java, Electronics, C++ Programming, Electrical Engineering, but also in relevant up-to-date technologies. I can perfectly accomplish this project as your requirements, whatever you imagine doing and you would be satisfied with my progress on your project.
Please come in contact with me for more details. Thank you.
Send me the sound files or one at least, then i will leave a little description on how to add more sounds to it.
how do you have the potentiometer input connected? (is it connected to a Raspberry pi GPIO, something like this?)
also how is the amplifier connected? (is is just connected through a 3.5mm?)
What i do is just get program working. If you want it in a window or app you will be able to call it in. I can place it into a window if needed but it will just have a basic format if you want it to look fancy you will have the source code to change it around.
I write programs i don't design other peoples apps.
the better you can tell me exactly how you want it to work the faster and better I can make it.
I will program in what ever language will work best for your program
look forward from hearing from you
