We have a proof-of-concept data analytics solution developed with a frontend that uses bootstrap web components complimented with our own JavaScript and supported with solid JavaScript libraries such as d3js.
We now need a front-end expert to work with us to reimagine and build a new frontend using our new corporate style guide. For our web framework we were thinking about using material-UI or staying with bootstrap but are open to other suggestions. This is a greenfield front-end opportunity.
Technically, we use native Golang templates so there is no need for any kind of knowledge of NodeJS type frameworks, database connectivity, session management etc.
Up to now we have focused on proving the back-end application with trial projects.
Now our focus is the frontend, the style, useability, creating more data presentation and ease-of-use options, customisable dashboards, multi-lingual, both l2r and r2l, ability to support custom themes etc.
You must have good skills with JS to make screens intuitive and not be over reliant on 3rd party JS libraries.
We are looking for someone to work with us for a few months to storyboard the major user journey from browsing pages whilst not logged in, registration, login, data upload, data browse and data analytics. Creation of the new web framework will be to an agreed acceptance criteria and delivery of the agreed journey.
Your proposal should outline weekly goals with tangible deliverables, payment milestones, sanity check points, dependencies and, most importantly, the experience you bring to the table.
If there is a specific part of this work (e.g., wireframes) which you would or would not like to bid for, we would be happy to hear from you and consider your proposal.
At minimum your response should include: your skills, why you would be the right person for the job, your relevant past experience, when you would be able to start, and some reference work which you have recently completed, which you can show us via video link if required.
