RS485 Arduino INO

Hello. Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. (autopromotion^)) You want to connect rs-485 to arduino, have some 485 bus driver. Want a program that receives 2 bytes and then send 2 bytes. And have just miso and mosi pins left on arduino board. Right? What rs485 driver do you have? They have 3 pins actualy - transmitter/receiver additionaly to rx/tx since they are half duplex. But there is hardware sollution. My bid is not final for now cuz lack of detailes. But I can help you anyway.

Hi, can you send me your wiring diagram? I guess the problem with RS485 transciever is it contain control pin to set wether it will be used as sender / receiver. I have used RS485 for several project, so I know it's concept and how it works. I just need to know your wiring diagram and IC/module that you are using now. HI, I think you can use a basic test I've used with RS 232, RS 485 should "just" change the physical layer, not the logic. The software is very easy, I cannot bid for less because minimum bid is limited by freelancer @ 15USD. As an alternative, I'm in Como, Italy, if you provide two converters I can test them with my code, otherwise I cannot provide warranty :) Cheers, Alex.

hello dear i think you have to use serial port of arduino not the spi, also do you use max485 as a converter AB/RS232 ? finally you can find many exemple in arduino ide select : file > exemples thanks aymen
