Name: I need help naming the app/platform - I would like it to be four letters and have something to do with the function of the software Features: I need you and your team to build this software/learning platform app. The MOST important thing about this app is its ease of use. A lot of my teachers have trouble using technology so I want this to be one of the easiest thing they've used in their teaching experience. 1. Teachers can access their student's assignments on they mobile device and/or on a computer 2. Teachers can make audio and visuals comments- regardless of format. a. Be able to make visual comments - I would like a smoother way for teacher to make different shapes and freeform b. I would like make audio comments simple to create c. I want this to be really simple for the teachers to use and love it. d. I want to use colour coding - Green for positive, yellow for negative, red for grade killer 3. When teachers submit the assignments back to the teacher, all visual comments are attached to an audio comment (Symbol by visual comment to show that an audio comment is attached) 4. Student can submit assignment in any format, Word, pdf, Excel and even writing directly on the mobile device. 5. Students can receive notification when assignment has been grade (text message or email saying what grade they received on an assignment) 6. Students can view visual comments without the audio comments 7. Students can view and listen to visual and audio comments that are synced together. 8. Teachers are able to create groups for students' video submission 9. When grading the video submission a. ability to assign comments to student individually at different option in the video submission. b. After grading, the teacher is able to gather all comments related to that student into a report to be given to the student. (Think of it like tagging someone or using a hashtag on Facebook and twitter. I do not want the hashtag function in the platform.) 10. I was given a request from an engineering teacher. Ability to receive student 3D submission like Auto CAD and other 3D designing software. a. Ability to mark up the 3D image using audio and visual comments. 11. On a student's written assignment i.e. research assignments, term papers and other Word documents a. The platform is able to assess a student's level based on several factors like the number of words used (big words vs small words) grammar mistakes. b. The platform is able to track the student's development through the year by comparing it to previous assignments c. Present the development report to the teacher on request d. Perform a plagiarism check on every assignment submitted to the teacher.
