Freelance Graphic Designer

Who are we? We do things a bit differently. There’s no corporate nonsense, no old-fashioned hierarchy, and definitely no micro-management (we’re not a fan!). We are a collective of young(ish) entrepreneurs running a digital marketing agency in the heart of Birmingham. We are self-starters who get stuff done and pull together as a squad to achieve big things. What we do? We work with e-commerce brands around the world from Malta to Malaysia, helping to scale their businesses through creative-led and data-driven social media marketing campaigns. We work with multiple 7 figure brands from a colourful variety of sectors including health, beauty, sportswear, fashion, kids toys and more. ---------------------- The role? A Graphic Designer must have a passion for visual design, love to create and have an eye for things that POP. You will be using your design skills to add your visual touch in everything we do. This will range from creating graphics for social media ad campaigns for our clients through to our own internal content marketing for our company. Here’s an overview of the day-to-day: Plan out the execution of new graphic designs in collaboration with our creative manager Researching and implementing new creative best practices for our agency Design of new creatives using Adobe Creative Cloud or a similar tools of your choice Working to creative guidelines set out by our clients in their brand standards Learning from our own best practices and learning new techniques Managing your own schedule and projects What superpowers should you have? A proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud Some basic skills in animation and After Effects would be great but not essential Have an eye for what looks ‘right’ Able to self teach from Google and Youtube when you get stuck A general interest in digital marketing and basic understanding of how it works Capable of picking up new systems and software quickly Willing to work in a changeable, entrepreneurial environment as we grow Receptive to mentorship Invested in self improvement Passionate about producing outstanding creative work Please provide a portfolio of your previous work as part of your application.
