I would like to commission a canvas painting of our home. There's a little story here, so please bear with me … My wife and I married in 1994, took jobs in Houston, TX, and bought our first home. It was a wonderful little brick house; we loved it. When we sold the Houston house and moved to Oil Springs, KY a few years later, my wife's aunt commissioned a painting of the house and gave it to us a Christmas present. That painting has hung in our Oil Springs home for over 20 years. We consider it a dear possession. It's painted on a 20”x16” canvas. I would like to commission a “matching” painting of our current Oil Springs home, done in the same style as the original Houston house painting. The goal will be to hang them side-by-side in our next home and have them appear to be companion paintings. I'm not sure what type(s) of paint or techniques were originally used, so I am including several photos of the Houston house painting that show some zoomed-in detail. I hope the attached files are helpful. In addition, I have selected a photo of our current home in Oil Springs, KY (similar perspective). I would like this photo to serve as the reference for the new painting. If you are interested in the project, please advise on how we can proceed. Thank you for your time. First of all congratulations to both of you for having a good life with lots of stories to tell and secondly i m an visual Artist from India. This project is really sounds amazing to work on only if u give me the opportunity to work. Sometimes we need to wear new and clean dress to refresh our mental and physical health. So i think we can use the same drawing of the house but with different style (not the same style of colouring).. it will be great to see hanging beside it.
