We are looking for someone to write a java application that can trace an outline of the head and torso in an image (512 x 512) and then give the measurements between the trace line. The images are in DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) format which is the standard format for medical images. I will provide the DICOM to the awarded freelancer. What we would like to receive is an API that would report row by row the starting point of the trace line and the the end point. It would also have a testing/debug mode so that we can test what we are give. Example would be we run the API against a DICOM file in debug/testing mode and it would produce an image file with the trace lines and measurements but leaving the original DICOM file intact. Attached is a example of what we would like the application to do for us.
