Hi, I'm currently planning the setup of my own knife making venture. I'll be specialising in both culinary and hunting knives in small custom batches. I'll be making use of reclaimed/repurposed materials where possible, with an absolute focus on quality. All products are made entirely by hand and finished to very high standards. I'm starting from scratch and am willing to consider anything (business name included), however I'd definitely be tending toward a more hipster styled identity in line with the following identity that was created for New York Cutlery ([login to view URL]). I currently am a hard stone carver (nephrite jade) and have found positive attributes associated with my home country New Zealand / Aotearoa. One of my tag lines I enjoy using is 'Made of Aotearoa' and I intend to extend this to my knife making in my use of native and upcycled materials e.g. native wooden handles fashioned from debris from the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. I'd be happy to discuss further as well as extend my budget for this project. Thanks

I have experience in coming up with unique but relevant names for brands. I can then turn that into a logo that will work for any type of material that you would be putting it on. I am going into my senior year of college, so I have the ability to come up with fresh and new ideas that haven't been seen a thousand times.
