I'm looking to create new DJ controller software, similar to Traktor or Djay. Initial program will be for the Mac. Second project will be for iPhone and iPad (although I could be convinced to change that.) Key functionality: manage music, integrate with iTunes, search, create playlists. Analyze music for beats and key detection. Play and control 2 desks of music. Control speed and key independently. EQ control, special effects. Ability to drop and save multiple cues and loops. Midi control, in and out (for Mac app.) More detailed specs to follow if there is any interest in this job. My inspiration for this project, which should help you understand the final results, come from DJing with Traktor first, then Djay Pro (both programs on Mac and iOS) and finding many things that need to be fixed and done better. Budget is unknown right now. Looking for proposals.
