We are experiencing repeated SQL server shut-downs and messages including :SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/[login to view URL]' (2) Our sql server requires restarting when this happens. We haven't installed any new modules / extensions etc. This problem was happening daily around 4pm but is now happening more frequently. We need a developer to assess the situation and recommend + implement the required fix to solve the issue.

Most time this error happen when MySQL server is very busy with queries. Are you on dedicated server or VPS? If so, we can also add script to check mysql for state and restart it automatically.
