I have some logging equipment which generates .xlsx and .csv data (2 datasets for 1 test). This equipment is mounted on an combustion engine dyno.
1. dataset comes from the engine dyno control unit and 2. dataset comes from engine control unit. The only part of these two datasets that is syncronised is the RPM signal on the engine. This rpm vector is a part of both datasets.
Job is:
I have tried myself to import both datasets in matlab. Interpolate all vectors (from both dataset matrixes) so i get 1. single rpm vector where all data is connected to this. Since i am a newbie in matlab this script is working, but have several issues. Instead of solving this myself i would to you to bid on this. I want a fast and reliable script which is able to Plot all this data, include where datavectors is multiplied and substacted on cross of each all. So these must be interpolated to same vector lenght for the same signle RPM vector (i think this is the way, maybe you have a better solution?). Goal is to plot engine efficiency. This is only poosible to calculate with power output (its in dataset 1) and fuelusage (its in dataset 2). This must be plotted where Rpm value is x axis value.
Datasets differ very much on the length. This script must also work on all dataset lenght. Since a lot of data is unimportant, the most data must be ignored/cut out of the final plots. For solving this i need to set a threshold value. In the 2. dataset we have and Engine_load vector. I need to be able to set a minimum threshold on this vector so all datarows on all datasets below this Engine_load value is ignored.
I have had this project here on freelancer last week, but the freelancer was not able to complete project. Most data is messed up in script and the plots shows different data than the datasets. Its like the rpm vector is no longer connected or synced to the data, and its not possible to solve.
I have attached both datasets from 1 single test and the previously script. I can send more datasets for test.
Please only bid (or ask precisely) if you understand this project and know how to solve. I have already used way to much time on this.
If this project succed, then i would like to make additional work on these where we can import 2 or 3 complete datasets and compare all sets on plots. Also creating a GUI for this app. But thats in feature. Not in this job right now.
