Build a rotating Christmas tree holder

I would like to replicate a toy I had as a child, it was made for me by my late grandfather and was essentially a rotating Christmas tree holder. The holder consisted of a metal cylinder holder for the tree and a motor + a case around it that looked like a house, which can be designed separately. Here are the features it had: The tree would be placed in the cylinder in the middle of the house and firmly fixed The house had a stable base to prevent the tree from falling The house had a plug at the back for tree lights There was a switch (connected by a wire to the house) with 3 options: - option one would rotate the tree half way and then back again (it never turned too far to tangle the wires from the lights - about 3 steps to one side and 3 steps back) - option 2 would turn on the lights and they would change colour - option 3 would fix the current colour of the lights Also the house had windows with lights, so that when the lights would change colour on the tree, they would do the same in all the windows. The options are open for discussion, it was a 1980s toy, so I'm sure the control can be wireless and we may sort out something different with the lights.
