upgrade problem with an iPhone ios application

I have a mobile photo messaging app which was completed a few weeks ago. Then i had to upgrade to ios 8 before i can submit to apple store but i have a problem. everything works except when i go to select contact to send message it won't slelect contact. i can see contact but when i press on contacts name its not doing anything. Can you resolve and how much will it cost ?
