Android 4.3 provides built in platform support for BLE; May I know, which type of proximity sensors will be used in this case?- Google Beacons or any other kind of usage? Need to declare the Bluetooth permission BLUETOOTH with the application. Need to initializes bluetooth adapter; Next I will Call isEnabled() to check whether Bluetooth is currently enabled. To find BLE devices, will use the startLeScan() method. This method takes a [login to view URL] as a parameter. DeviceScanActivity class scann and display available BLE devices. It Stops scanning after 10 seconds. Also stops scanning after a pre-defined scan period. In case of scan for only specific types of peripherals, I can instead call startLeScan(UUID[], [login to view URL]), providing an array of UUID objects that specify the GATT services of the app supports. Also need to connect to a GATT server. mBluetoothGatt = [login to view URL](this, false, mGattCallback); This connect to the GATT server hosted by the BLE device. Also need to scan sd card as well.
