Hello, I'm a Photoshop hack (self-taught) but lacking the specific skills to take one of my photos to where I need it. It's a night-time photo of a lunar eclipse, with the moon rising behind a mountain. What I want to fix: - The scene is very dull. I want the scene to be slightly brighter without looking unnatural (it was nighttime). The mountain needs to stand out a bit more, the moon a bit brighter while preserving its deep red hue. - Because it was low light, my camera introduced a lot of noise and colour gradients, especially in the sky. How do I reduce those artifacts without losing the limited details in the moon and mountain? - As best as possible, I would also like to improve the sharpness of the photo without introducing new artifacts. - I am not looking for simple exposure and contrast enhancement, I can do that. Project requirements: - Adobe Photoshop (I have the latest via Creative Cloud) - Additional plugins are allowed, but please let me know what you intend to use prior to beginning the project. - Instructions can be presented as video and/or step-by-step text instructions. - I'll give you a reduced resolution sample of the photo to demonstrate your skills in your project proposal. But I don't expect you to give me a final version. The intent is that I learn some new skills. Note: The original source file is .png and a resolution of 6000x3400 pixels. Unfortunately, I didn't have RAW format engaged at the time. I realize what I am looking for is subjective, but if you can teach me how to achieve approximately what I am looking to accomplish, I'll consider this project a success. :) IMPORTANT: Blind/automated bids will be ignored.
