I have two .asp web pages. One is the UI page that collects user registration information. The Second page takes that data and updates the database and does various other logic things.
The first page goes to the second page as follows,
<span class="pln">document</span><span class="pun">.</span><span class="pln">frm</span><span class="pun">.</span><span class="pln">action</span><span class="pun">=</span><span class="str">"[login to view URL]"</span><span class="pun">;</span><span class="pln">
document</span><span class="pun">.</span><span class="pln">frm</span><span class="pun">.</span><span class="pln">submit</span><span class="pun">();</span><span class="pln">
</span>
The second page is mostly VBscript.
I also have a VB.net web service.
I need to duplicate the functionality of the second asp page into the web service app.
Using the app at this location, <[login to view URL]> I have converted the second page to an .aspx file.
My Question...
Can I call / run the new aspx page (the converted classic asp page) from the VB.net web service ?
In other words, I want to take data received by the web service, pass that data to the aspx page that will do some stuff and update a database, and the return some results back to the web service.
Is this is possible ? If so I would like some sample code to show me how.
The reason for wanting to know if I can do this, is to save having to rewrite chunks of VBscript code out of classic asp pages. If I can just run the aspx pages, passing data from the VB.net app, that would save me a lot of time.
thanks
