Barcode scanner proof of concept

We need a proof of concept program written to support the Motorola Symbol CS1504 handheld barcode scanner ([login to view URL]). We will not be able to provide you with this scanner. The SDK is available here: [login to view URL] The program should be a self-installing exe that causes a program to be running in the system tray. After the installation of the program, the following should happen upon connecting the CS1504 via a USB cable to the machine: * The program should automatically launch in the background • It should download the barcodes from the scanner • Should create a text file containing the data downloaded from the scanner • Clear the scanner • Launch a web page: [login to view URL] (just to demonstrate an http call) • Display a message for 15 seconds that lists the data, then shuts down. We will test this with an actual CS1504 on our computers. If this test is successful, we will then contract with you to expand the program to work with our web service API calls and implement other functionality. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
