Hey. Seems fairly simple task. I can do this for you. Have done several python based scrapers that run repeatedly. Some scrape 60000 pages each run, so yeah, this job is much easier. Python source codes included of course and I can answer some questions about code, if they should arise.

I will create the scrapper using Java HTTP protocols and provide both the source code as well as documentation on setting the job to run on a daily basis (i.e. Midnight every night).

I use Python/Scrapy to do the job and sometimes I use PhantomJS with Selenium. I have developed a system capable of running spiders daily, with error handling, email notification, etc. If you need to use this service we can negotiate a monthly cost, this system currently runs 24 hours on a server located in New York City. This system also has an API to view the latest data without downloading the complete data file, because the system also stores the data in a database MongoDB it if necessary. I can share the code of the spider, no problem, make not sense to share the code that runs this daily, the system makes use of Celery with Scrapyd. It is a little routine that runs every so often looking in the database for those spiders that should run, then queued them using Scrapyd API. Although I have no problem sharing this and detailing their operation. The price of my offer is for the spider, $50. If you are interested in using the system, this is $50 a month, the first month would pay only the spider ($50). In case you do not want to use the system, I can make the spider as executable python code and you can use cron to run this daily. I have a simple java template and a couple of java libraries that use selenium/javascript to make it very simple to scrape any website (even complex ones with javascript). I run this setup under ubuntu using cron to automate with a headless firefox. Automated logging, saving of website data. It takes about an hour to install on an ubuntu server (apt-get packages, firefox, selenium, java etc), from then you can setup an simple daily automated website scrape in a couple of hours .. for the most complex websites it can take a couple of days. Presuming you have an ubuntu linux box i can give you a tar file with all the required code, instructions to install and example cron entry. So in summary .. Its Ubuntu/Java/Selenium, And i can automate what your asking for in less than 1 hour .. and i will give you everything you need to install and run, plus its yours to use for future work. The advantage of using Selenium with firefox is its impossible for the website to know its not a real user .. many websites are building in anti-scraping features which will block non-browser based scrapers.
