This is a simple job for coders familiar with AJAX/JQuery.
It is a web based program (or a Desktop application that access web-based MYSQL data). Either are acceptable.
The program would use a [login to view URL] to access the MYSQL database. It will start by displaying all the tables in that database.
The program then display all the fields for user to tick and choose. There is also a 'width' field for user to specify how wide the field will be displayed. If not specified, program would use a default constant value.
After that, the program display the table field value in a grid. The grid can be very wide if there are many fields, which is not a problem.
The grid width of each field should be drag-able to adjust the width of the fields.
The program then displays the records according to a preset page limit, which can be set by user from a drop down box.
And user have an option to edit the field value and click 'submit' to update the value.
And finally user should be able to enter a new record. He/she would first type the value in the 'primary key' field. If the keyed-in new value exists, the program would bring in that record into view and allow user to edit it.
If the value is new, then user can continue to enter all the field values and submit this new record.
