In my photography business, we use Microsoft Access to maintain customer records and appointments. When an Access record is added or updated, Access then updates our Microsoft Outlook calendar with scheduled events. I need someone to modify the code to add additional blocks of production time to the calendar in addition to the current appoinments. Current code is attached.
## Deliverables
The production schedule for a wedding is the most complicated. If Me!OrderCategory = "Wedding", I need four, four-hour production appointments added to Outlook. The production blocks should begin on the first Tuesday following the event (Me!ScheduleDate). Tuesday 8:00AM to 12:00PM Wednesday 8:00AM to 12:00PM Thursday 8:00AM to 12:00PM Friday 8:00AM to 12:00PM Outlook .Subject = Forms!ClientInfo!NamePrimaryLast & " " & Forms!OrderInfo!OrderDescription & " Production" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Next is portraits. If Me!OrderCategory = "Portrait", I need one, two-hour production appointment added to Outlook. The production block should be on the first business day (Monday to Friday) after the event (Me!ScheduleDate). So for an event scheduled this year on October 20, the production appointment should be for October 21 12:00PM to 2:00PM. For an event scheduled this year on October 23 (which is a Friday), the production appointment should be set for October 26 (the next business day) from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. Outlook .Subject = Forms!ClientInfo!NamePrimaryLast & " " & Forms!OrderInfo!OrderDescription & " Production" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Last is commercial. If Me!OrderCategory = "Commercial", I need one, four-hour production appointment added to Outlook. The production block should be on the first business day (Monday to Friday) after the event (Me!ScheduleDate). So for an event scheduled this year on October 20, the production appointment should be for October 21 8:00AM to 12:00PM. For an event scheduled this year on October 23 (which is a Friday), the production appointment should be set for October 26 (the next business day) from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Outlook .Subject = Forms!ClientInfo!NamePrimaryLast & " " & Forms!OrderInfo!OrderDescription & " Production" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Each of these appoinments needs to be updated if the event date changes. For example, I have a portrait scheduled for October 21 and it has been added to Outlook. A production block has been added for October 22 at 12:00PM. If the user changes the value of Me!ScheduleDate to October 28, then the original appointments for October 21 and 22 need to be deleted from Outlook and new appointments created for October 28 and 29.
