The intent of this web-site is to bring together business/engineering professionals who have regular day jobs but are looking for small consulting work on the side (over the weekend)? and small business owners who need consulting help/professional advice? but can't afford consultants. The site will allow consultants to easily sign up and create Username & Password and a quick profile. The site will also allow small business owners to sign up and post small business projects/engineering problem statements, alongwith their Maximum budget.? The professionals will need to log in, view the projects and bid on them, clarifying the amount they will charge, Estimated Completion Time and Yrs. of Experience doing that kind of work. The business owner can? evaluate the bids and can? ask further clarifying questions within the? website forum? (not in email)? or accept/reject the bids. ? The consulants will pay a membership fee of $1.99 per month with discount levels for 3/6/9/12 month membership and can earn unlimited amounts with no service fee if they dont use the escrow service The consultants will have the choice to either use the site's Escrow service or directly contract with the Service seeker for payment etc. If the users do not use the Escrow service, they don't have to pay any other fees other than the membership fee. If the user decides to use the site's? escrow service they will be charged a 1.5% fee that will be deducted from the payment that the service seeker pays to the consutant. The Service seeker will also geta 0.5% cash back for all such payments made through the escrow service which will be paid as a discount on the payment made. So the net payment to the site will be 1%. The conultants will also be assessed a 2-2.5% fee for transactions using paypal service which will be directly paid to Paypal. The consultant upon logging in should be able to see a list of all open projects sorted by date and should also have the ability to filter the list by Project Category and Project Type etc. The business owner and the professional should be able to leave feedback for each other on a few criteria when the work is completed.
