Website Customization Wizard

The purpose of this project is to create an attractive web GUI that will allow users to select one of my simple website HTML (no graphics) templates (up to 5 templates) and "customize" it. Each website templates is simple and designed to sell a single digital product such as an ebook. Each site comprises a number of html pages including some, or all of the following: sales page, upsell page, contact page, terms & conditions page, privacy page, please confirm email page, email subscription confirmed page, already subscribed page, affiliates email signup page, affiliates information page. Each website template will be provided in its own directory as a set of html files with a single product download php file and a css file. The customizations will in all cases be simple text substitutions or insertions at defined points in the HTML code. The website templates are all very similar, usually differing only in the number of pages used (eg one may use an upsell page, another may exclude it) or the default value of a token (see below). Each customizable website page will contain tokens eg: <title>%%WEBSITETITLE%% - %%WEBSITESUBTITLE%%</title> I will also provide the default types and values for each token in each template, for example: WEBSITETITLE, text, "Your website name" HOMEPAGEMAINBODY, wysiwyg html, "<h1>lorem ipsum</h1> etc etc" BACKGROUNDCOLOR, color, #FF0000 PREFOOTER, html, eg google analytics code I expect the typical number of tokens per page will be 5-15, most of those repeat on every page of the website (eg website title etc). A typical template will feature 20-30 tokens (and therefore customizations) in total. These are approximations. The goal of this project is to: - Design an attractive GUI to allow the user to select a template and capture their customizations in an easy, intuitive manner - Allow users to visualize their customizations either "live" or similar - Allow users to save those customizations for future retrieval, amendment or duplication - Allow users to download a zipped copy of their entire customized website to their PC This code should work on a hostgator platform (linux, mysql, preferably php etc). The typical user will not be a HTML coder so capturing and applying customizations must be simple, quick and ***visual***. They must be able to see the impact of their changes to a particular file in realtime or near realtime. IMPORTANT - How you propose to solve the problem in the previous paragraph is key to winning this project. Please do not bother with bids that say "I can do this" if you cannot back it up with some explanations of the user experience you plan to implement. Thank-you for your time.
