Hello, I am a writer looking to create interactive fiction with a company called Choice of Games. The company offers a template gamebook for any writer to edit and write their own story in the book. Unfortunately, I do not have an engineering background and planning the story out in a linear way in text editor is very difficult. The company uses a very simple Javascript derivative language called ChoiceScript for writers to code themselves. So, I am looking for a way to write a story in a design mode fashion, using a tree that describes the multi-choice and translates this design into ChoiceScript statements within .txt files located in a Choice of Games template here: [login to view URL] I am not looking for the tool to do anything else but edit and create .txt files within the /web/mygame/scenes folder in the template. So any software you would write would not recreate the Choice of Games method from scratch, it would just dictate correctly in .txt files. Please note that a solid understanding of Choice of Game's language, ChoiceScript, would be required for the project.
