As the client, I am seeking a proficient developer to alleviate an annoying issue hampering the user experience on our WooCommerce store. Specifically, the problem lies on the category page- when 'show more products' is clicked, users select a product, but when they hit the back button to return to the category page, the site fails to remember the cursor position. Key functionalities required: • Automatic scrolling: Post pressing the back button on the category page, the website should be enabled to automatically return to the user's last cursor position. • Instant Product Loading: When 'show more products' is selected, additional products should load instantly on the same page without switching to a different page or introducing a loading icon. Ideal Skills & Experience: • PHP and/or JavaScript – Even though I don't have a particular preference for the programming languages or technologies used in this task, a knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, or both, might prove beneficial to understand and enhance the backend functionality of our WooCommerce store. • WordPress & WooCommerce - Strong experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce is essential given the nature of the project. • UX/UI Design – Experience with user experience and interaction design is necessary for this project as the main goal is to improve the user experience navigating our store.
