Building an trading application that needs to trade my friends account say about 50 of them. It will place a series of Stock trades to IBKR brokers exchange. Their API is pub/sub model. So want to understand how to design a client application that has to place trades for so many accounts (repeat the same series of trades for all accounts) and still handle the async responses come through it. An example of the broker's api ... if placeOrder() is a method to place orders, the response for this operation will be sent via a callback function that we need to implement for e.g. orderStatus(). I hope the above example makes sense. Hello, I think I can do this for you. I have 10 years experience with Python. I worked with a lot of different APIs(Twitter, Facebook, Google). I also have done some data analysis on stock data. Hi, I am interested in working in the project. I have built interface to Interactive Brokers and integrated trading algorithms with it. I have built various components of a trading system such as FIX gateways, Smart Order Routers, etc I have a question - do you want to trade with 50 different accounts or with single account and 50 instances of the program? Hi, I have ported my own Quantopian algorithms to run live on Interactive Brokers and am willing to help. I currently have a full time job so would be limited to doing this outside of office hours and at weekends. I have a strong development background but have been studying trading in my free time for less than two years. As such, defining the algorithm is your responsibility, but I have the skills to put it into action. In my own algorithms I have added some cool features such as notifications to my phone on trading activity, and emailing a daily log at the end of the trading day. My algorithms can run with zero interaction for the full week, but I still have a live picture of what is happening.
