I have experience in the field of warehouse automation which involves communication of control devices such as PLCs, sensors, scanners etc with the softwares. I have worked on sending barcode data from S7-1200 PLC to python program which gives the decisions based on barcode back to the PLC. S7 ;-) Hello, your project seems to be really interesting. I have done a siilar communication between a Python application and a Siemens S7-1200. I do think that Profinet is very challenging, but I would like to suggest a Modbus TCP communication. Therefore I would be happy to help you with that. Kind Regards Stefan

S7 Hello there, It is possible to communicate to S7-1200 plc with python. I've previously worked on it and finished successfully. I've not used ProfiNET for that. To proceed further I'll need more information. Hope to hear from you for exact requirement.
