We are looking to get the framework put in place on a Raspberry pi that includes reading data from a CANBus and then displaying this on a GUI. We have a Raspberry Pi Touchscreen and a MIKROE-68 (CAN to SPI) as the interfaces. The software needs to be modular so that we can add new CAN messages and GUI components as required. The Pi will also preferably be set up with a custom splash screen and show no Raspberry Pi artefacts on bootup.

Hi! Your tasks seem doable. If I understand well, you need a basic code that fully works and you need to easily upgrade that code with your needs later. Some questions: 1. What is your preferred programming language? My "native" language is C. 2. How quickly would you like to have the project finished? I'm asking this to make further proposal for the job management. My primary estimation about working hours and job complexity is 12. So the requested project should be less than $300.
