Scan the web for the final closing price and stock volume every trading day after the US Stock Market closes (regular trading hours). Populate the “Closing Price” and “Volume” columns in three existing company list .csv spreadsheets for the NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX. Once the data has been inserted for each company into the spreadsheet, multiply the “Closing Price” and “Volume” and place the total in to a new column called “Price Volume”. (All columns should include all decimal places. Ex.: one million = 1,000,000.) Save all three spreadsheets for future use. (Sorting, etc.) Automate this process so new spreadsheets are created everyday after the market closes.
